Get a massage before a shoe insert

I once spent an entire hour session working on a guy's Quadratus Lumborum (QL). He had driven about 900 miles the day before and was in a lot of pain. In my experience, and I have seen other therapist have different opinions, the QL is the main culprit for 80% of the low back problems I see. Tight QLs are very common. Before getting getting fitted for a shoe insert, before even getting a LLD test, get a massage from a massage therapist that knows how to thoroughly work this muscle.
